About Neil Goldman, Principal

Neil Goldman has spent his career on your side of the desk in the lighting industry. In 1975, while still attending State University of New York full time, Mr. Goldman was hired as a direct sales representative for Commercial Lighting Products, a North American light bulb manufacturing and distribution firm. Upon the sale of CLP to Swingline Staples (a division of American Brands) Neil opened Majestic Lighting Supplies, Inc. in New York where his operational, management, and sales abilities were developed. In 1998, Neil was approached by Litemor, a Montreal based lighting distributor, to sell Majestic Lighting Supplies, Inc. to Litemor and stay on to manage the New York branch. Recognizing that his hiring skills and understanding of the channels in the industry would be of benefit to manufacturing and distribution firms, Neil departed Litemor in March 2004 to once again embark on a new venture: Neil Goldman & Associates.
